Matt and Christina Sweeney have been involved in college admissions and/or teaching writing since 1994. Matt has decades of experience in college admissions and Christina approaches the college essay with the perspective of both an English teacher and a former admissions counselor. We feel that this a very rare and special combination that helps our clients greatly.

We want to demystify the college process. There are so many rumors, half-truths, and outright lies circulating. There is also a whole new set of terms and definitions to learn during the college application process. No wonder many parents and students feel anxious or confused. We are here to help.
We also understand that this is a process and evolves over time. We are dealing with teenagers after all. Matt and Christina have worked with adolescents for decades. As time goes on, student preferences may change and grow. Parents’ thoughts evolve as well. This is normal. We will change, re-assess, modify, and grow with you and your child.
