Our services are best suited for families seeking personalized, strategic guidance rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. We work with students to understand their strengths, goals, and priorities, then help them identify colleges where they can thrive and create applications that authentically represent who they are.
We believe the student should be at the center of the process. Our role is to provide expertise, structure, encouragement, and honest feedback while helping students take ownership of their college journey.
We offer a free consultation to help you determine if our services are a good fit for your needs and goals.
We believe the best college essays aren't written for students, rather they're developed with them. Christina's role is to ask thoughtful questions, help students uncover meaningful experiences, and guide them through brainstorming, drafting, and revision.
Throughout the process, we are committed to preserving each student's authentic voice. By combining the perspective of an experienced English teacher with firsthand knowledge of selective college admissions, Christina helps students craft essays that are genuine, engaging, and reflective of who they are.
We previously offered essay-only packages, but over time we found that approach wasn't the best fit. In some cases, students sought essay feedback while applying to colleges that were not realistic matches for their academic profile. Rather than providing feedback on essays without addressing the broader admissions strategy, we felt it was more responsible to support students through a comprehensive college planning process. This allows us to help students build balanced college lists and provide guidance that gives them the best opportunity for success.
As a result, we no longer offer essay-only packages.
The SRAR stands for Self Reported Academic Record. In August of 2025, it was rebranded to STARS (Self-Reported Transcript and Academic Record System). Some colleges require this in lieu of transcripts. We can help you complete it with the total college planning package.
We have found that most clients prefer virtual appointments simply for ease and convenience. If you prefer in-person meetings this can be arranged on an as-needed basis, assuming you live within a reasonable driving distance.
No. Nobody can guarantee that in today's ever changing and highly competitive college admissions landscape. We can, however, make sure your child shines as much as possible and puts forth the strongest application.
This can be arranged in certain circumstances. Talk with us to learn more.
We are well versed in domestic college admissions. We are not very familiar with international applications.
Yes. Matt’s experience as a former admissions officer includes conducting many college interviews, giving him valuable insight into what makes an interview effective. Matt helps students prepare by practicing responses, identifying meaningful experiences to share, and building the confidence they need to have a genuine and engaging conversation with an admissions representative.
